Step 1: Consultation and Skin Analysis
The treatment begins with a consultation where a chemical peel specialist will assess the condition of your skin. Based on your skin concerns, goals, and other factors, they will recommend the most suitable type of chemical peel for your needs.
Step 2: Preparation for Treatment
Before the procedure, the doctor may ask you to tie back your hair to keep it out of the treatment area. You will also be given protective eye goggles to shield your eyes from the chemicals being applied.
Step 3: Cleansing and Numbing
Once you’re ready, the doctor will thoroughly cleanse your skin to remove any excess oils, dirt, or makeup. This ensures that the chemical solution can penetrate the skin effectively. For your comfort, a topical anesthetic may be applied to numb the treatment area, particularly if you’re undergoing a deeper peel.
Step 4: Application of the Peel
